Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and federal regulations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is roadworthy
  • Properly handle, load, and secure hazardous cargo according to safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate logs, shipping documents, and manifests for all hauls
  • Follow all HAZMAT placarding and labeling requirements during transport
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members
  • Respond appropriately to spills, accidents, or emergencies involving hazardous materials
Requirements:
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials (H) endorsement required
  • Valid TWIC card or ability to obtain one preferred
  • Proven experience driving and transporting hazardous materials
  • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HAZMAT compliance standards
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety at all times
